This Ebook was created considering common daily activities of a COMOS user, going through the functionalities that I consider essential to understand the workflow. Although the workflow in COMOS is not unique, the user will be able to understand it in a conceptual way if he follows the step-by-step that I created, and he will not have difficulties to follow other possible workflows demanded in the daily routine of a real project.

COMOS provides a single working environment for all disciplines involved in the different phases of a process plant project. In this way, it is possible to greatly increase integration between the areas and data consistency.

Large projects often require updates, and it is common to include and update large amounts of data for different types of equipment. In COMOS, queries can make this task much easier

COMOS works with a single and centralized database, so that information updated in one place in the system is quickly updated throughout the system, almost immediately.
 

Diagrams in COMOS don´t store only drawing information of plant assets. In diagrams, you can create connections between equipment, navigate to the object structure, access equipment properties, navigate to other documents, and so on.
