COMOS - Engineering Disciplines Integration

COMOS provides a single working environment for all disciplines involved in the different phases of a process plant project. In this way, it is possible to greatly increase integration between the areas and data consistency.
To demonstrate how disciplines integration work, I have prepared a short video, where I show an example of integration between the process and electrical areas. Selecting the pump driver motor drawn in the P&ID, I show how to navigate to the same motor within the electrical project, where I find a circuit diagram already created. After opening the diagram, we see the electric motor connected to the plant's electrical system.
Next, I put the P&ID and the circuit diagram side by side on the same screen, showing that it is possible to manipulate simultaneously two diagrams built by different areas.
